While reviewing my profile during dislikes I was reminded of an earlier conversation I had with my co-worker.
She came back recently from vacation in Wildwood, New Jersey. She was telling me the various places she visited and mentioned the boardwalk by the shore where there is much entertainment, restaurants, games, various stores and of course your local psychic readers. She went to see this woman that got her scared out of her wits! The poor girl... After charging her for the regular fee somewhere along the reading got her to believe that she was cursed, there was a lot evil around her, blah blah, blah, she would die within 6 years with much pain and suffering etc... and in order for her to be well she needed to pay more money for the reader to remove the curse and so on. My girl friend gave her more money, as the reader continued with the same saga trying to convince her to have more money charged to her debit card in order to remove the curse. Finally my friend had the good sense to walk out of that place. I heard her tell the story and realized that about 13 years ago I went to this same reader while on a trip to Wildwood as well. I could not believe that after all this years this woman is still exploiting people. For me it was a bad experience, but I'm not as suggestible as my friend... I quickly shook her off and let it be known that she had no power over me or my wallet. The girl was in such a panic, I'm burning a candle, and sending her healing. I will also give her some sage next time I see her.
It's just not right! This woman is a fake and It pisses me off that she's still taking advantage of vulnerable people! 

Here I am at the new house!  The closing finally happened on July 10th it was down to the wire, but worth the wait, it's so peaceful out here and I'm glad to be out of the city, no prostitutes or drug dealers on the corner of the street...there's also no pizza or chinese delivery and the fed-ex guy don't look to happy climbing 600 ft of driveway;-)  but we love it!  It sure was a nice trade off.  Signed up the kids at the new school, they are a littlle scared but I realy do think they will be fine.  They have wonderful activities for the children.  My son can't wait to join the science and chess clubs and my little girl wants to be a part of the art club and soccer team.  I start my new position at work next week, more travelling but it should be interesting.  My Goddess it sure as been a year of new beginnings, all for the best!  Very exciting!  Now we have to finnish getting the studio set up and start recording our music ;-)

It's glomy again, I miss the Sun...We have made now 15 trips to the storage units in between the breaks of rainny weather.  Still have a lot to clean up but most of the big furniture is gone.  Need to do a trip to the goowill, another to the metal recycle place.  I also finally made it to the attic and organized all the candles, herbs, oils.  Everything is packed, including all the candle making utensils.  Has I was doing this I tought about giving a class on magic candle making at the pagan church I attend, I think it would be fun to do, we always have a great time making candles in my household and they work best for any spell work, something to think about after everything settles.  Well, 9 more days until  closing!  I hope my dog and kitties do well with the transition.

What a nice day, got so much done.  The moving to the new house is coming right a long, two more weeks before the closing and I can't wait.  Most of the furniture is now out of the house and into storage.  I still have to go up in the attic and do a major clean up of stuff I have acumulated over the years.  My purple room in the attic also needs some atention, I still have quite a few oils, candles and others tools to put away.  I'm going to miss this house, it did us good and we have wonderful  memories with friends and family.  I'll miss especially my gardens and the music we have created within these walls.  We are however, ready to move on, the new house is larger and the yard is just fabulous, I'll have so much more room to plant.  It's surrounded by trees and wild life, "The Hedge", the schools will be so much better for my children,  I can't wait!  Thank you dear Gaia queen of my heart and soul!
